ABOUT LUCAS JACKSON

I Know What It's Like When Your Brain Stops Working the Way It Used To

In March 2014, I suffered a hemorrhagic stroke in my right pre-frontal lobe that left me bedridden, broke, and often suicidal. The injury didn't kill me physically. It robbed me of everything that made me who I had worked a lifetime to become.

I lost my business, relationships fell apart. My brain couldn't do things that used to be automatic. And the worst part? The doctors ran their tests, sent me home, and told me to rest and wait. The scans came back normal. The waitlists were 18 - 24 months long. Nobody had answers.

I spent years figuring this out the hard way. Years of dead ends, setbacks, and feeling completely alone in the dark. I tried everything I could find, hoping something would work. I googled at 2am. I felt like I was the only person in the world dealing with this.

But I also watched what it did to the people who loved me. I saw my caregivers burn out trying to hold me together. I watched them lose themselves trying to save me. I understand both sides of this struggle. The survivor's desperate fight to rebuild. And the caregiver's quiet collapse under the weight of it all.

MY APPROACH

Why I Built Move 21

After years of navigating TBI recovery, I realized something. The medical system can tell you what's broken. But they have no idea how to help you rebuild your life when your brain works differently now. So I became my own advocate.

Because “wait and see” isn’t a plan

Too many survivors and caregivers are sent home with vague timelines and no structure. This program replaces uncertainty with a clear, actionable roadmap.

Because Caregivers Burn Out in Silence

When the supporter has no support, everything begins to fracture. This program strengthens both survivor and caregiver without sacrificing either.

Because Brain Injury Recovery Isn’t One-Size-Fits-All

Generic self-help doesn’t work for a brain that’s healing. This was built specifically for the cognitive, emotional, and relational realities of TBI — practical tools that actually fit.

Because No One Should Have to Figure This Out Alone

Years of trial-and-error, late-night searching, and isolation shouldn’t be the default path. This program exists to provide guidance from someone who’s lived it — from both sides.

Who I Help

If you’re here, it’s because something feels deeply off — even if the world can’t see it. Whether you’re the one recovering or the one holding everything together, the weight is real.

If you're the survivor

I know you're frustrated with yourself. You wonder if this is just who you are now. You're terrified the people you love will give up on you. You look fine on the outside, but inside you're struggling every single day with a brain that doesn't work the way it used to.

If you're the caregiver

I know you love them, but you're losing yourself. You feel guilty every time you need a break. You're exhausted from holding everything together while nobody acknowledges what you're carrying. You're married but you have no partner. You're drowning and nobody sees it.

I've walked this road from both sides. And I can show you the way through.

THE DIFFERENCE MAKER

What Makes Move 21  Different

Most brain injury support stops at medical recovery or offers generic coping advice. Move 21 goes further. We build practical structure that works with brain fog, cognitive overload, and decision fatigue — not against it.

Separate Pathways, Shared Healing

We have separate pathways for survivors and caregivers. What you need is different, but you're both healing from the same injury.

Community That Speaks Your Language

We create community. You join a school platform with others who actually get it. People who speak TBI like a second language. People who understand without you having to explain.

Practical Structure That Actually Works

We build structure that works with brain injury. Routines that account for brain fog, decision fatigue, and cognitive overload. We use proven therapeutic approaches adapted for how your brain works now.

Personal Coaching When You Need It

For those who want deeper support, I walk with you through the full 21 weeks — weekly calls, personalized guidance, and direct access when you’re stuck.

What Happens When We Work Together

I've walked alongside survivors who went from barely functioning to rebuilding lives worth living. Different lives than before. Often better ones.

I've coached caregivers who were on the edge of burnout and helped them find boundaries, energy, and themselves again without abandoning the person they love.
